Description
I am offering for sale my NOMOS Ludwig with sapphire back. It is in beautiful condition with no scratches, dings or dents.
The watch was purchased in New York City from a very well known AD (WE...PE) in March 2006. I am the original owner and have cared for the watch very well.
I do not wear it all all now and have only worn it perhaps 6 times.
The original wooden box, and stamped papers are included.
NOMOS Ludwig mechanical watch in stainless steel with sapphire case-back
Maker: NOMOS Glashütte SA
Movement: NOMOS in-house 3/4 plate rhodium plated 'Alpha'
Dial: silver-plated white (circular), with roman numerals
(Rhodium plated Nomos in house built Alpha hand wound movement and heat treated hands and screws.
Lovely finished case with very attractive long, slender and plunging lugs, slim curved edged case and narrow winding crown.
It has a beautiful silver plated dial with attractive Roman numerals, blued hands and a sunken subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 position.)
Hands: polished steel
Markers: Roman numerals (printed)
Case: hand-polished stainless steel (nickel-free surgical steel [316-L])
Back: snap-on hand-polished stainless steel (nickel-free surgical steel [316-L]) with sapphire window
Crown: 316L stainless steel with NOMOS logo engraved
Calibre: 1TSP (3/4-plate)
Crystal: Flat polished sapphire crystals
Strap: 18 mm black shell-cordovan leather strap (hand-sewn)
Size: Diameter=35 mm (44 mm across lugs), Thickness=6.65 mm
Water Resistance: 3 Atm
Buckle: Signed,polished steel buckle embossed with NOMOS logo
Water resistance: 3 ATM
Dimensions: 35mm in diameter, 44 mm lug to lug, 6.75mm thick
Power Reserve: Last ~42 hours on 1 full wound
Accuracy: +-3 seconds per day
The signed strap is new and never worn. I have replaced it with a genuine croc strap by another Glasshutte manufacturer: A. Lange & Sohne.
This strap is also included It is 95%+ condition.
The price is $1000USD plus shipping and is firm.

This new design still takes getting used to.
I did not know that emails were suppressed and never checked back since i was never notified of any replies.
