Description

Dear Community!

I know, I know, I am stupid and will regret this sale for sure!

Now I am consider to sell my beloved Minerva Avus II Chronograph with the Valjoux GHT N.22 vintage movement. The GHT N.22 movement is a huge, historical, vintage movement from the 40-ies, made by hand, has no schock protection at all!
Rumours says that Minerva bought 26 movements in 1942 and found it later in their drawer in 1997 and made this very unique edition of 26 pieces worldwide.

All movements are assembled by the hand of master watchmaker Yvan Bourquin from Minerva.

The watch is a unique edition from 1997, exists only 26 pieces worldwide. The case is from solid sterling silver with beautiful patina. It is in a very good, mint condition!
The movement was recently serviced, works strong, all the functions are perfect!

I have no box and no papers for the watch but with a certificate of the origin, signed by Jean-Jacques Frey and Yvan Bourquin from Minerva!

Enjoying my Minerva Aviation 45 today.
Experience the rare Montblanc Minerva Aviation 45 watch, a limited 1997 piece. With an NOS Valjoux 71 movement, this 42mm timepiece was meticulously regulated to run at +3 seconds daily, maintaining its vintage allure.

Cheeky shot of the FM Crazy Hours inbetween spells of rain ⏱️🤹🏻‍♂️
The Franck Muller Crazy Hours watch blends seriousness with a playful hidden complication. Capturing its essence is challenging due to glare, but its true charm lies in being worn and enjoyed. Share your weekend choice.

Not a watch I would normally gravitate towards..
Author recounts a dissatisfying repair saga with MB, prompting a credit towards a distinct collaboration watch via Collective. Contrary to their norm, the author opts for a unique brand, guided by dealer recommendations.

A short about Edmond Capt of Valjoux 7750 fame … and Jean-Jacques Frey or Minerva fame
In 1980, JJ Frey purchased 50 Valjoux 71 calibres from Edmond Capt, later crafting the Minerva Aviation 45. An intriguing watchmaking narrative.

You will regret this, Adam... Wrong time for me, otherwise I'd be on my way to Györ today... sad
Yes I know for sure! The only reason is to fund partially my Porsche! Cars are also a passion for me, I have only expensive hobbies! smile

No bad experiences at all Just that the Minerva is iconic an 1 of 26 - hence it will keep the value and appeal, while the Panamera will turn into 'the old model' at some point wink

Am sure the Minerva will find a warm home, though and that you'll have many enjoyable miles with the Panamera!
