Description

This LeCoultre automatic "Master Mariner" timepiece is in excellent condition. I purchased the watch at a specialty shop in Boston (www.europeanwatch.com), USA several years ago. The watch has only been worn a few times, occasionally wound to keep the parts moving well. When not worn is stored in a watch box. This is a beautiful and well running watch. I do not know the size and year of the watch, but I would estimate ~34mm and 1960s. Here is what I gather from old notes during the time when I purchased the watch: 1065 steel Cased and timed in USA by LeCoultre Cal A880 17 Jewel Auto Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Jaeger Lecoultre Master Mariner E 557/1.
Here is a representation of some Master Miner models I will post one day. While I am hunting the one in the middle, I fell on the one on the bottom, today. This 557/ 1 belongs to one of my friends. 34 mm case, but it wears bigger, Cal 883 inside. Nice condition, superb soleiilé dial. Another lovely

I have a few vintage JLC’s and am looking at purchasing either a vintage LeCoultre Master Mariner-1969 cal K822 or a vintage Le Coultre black dial Powermatic/Powerwind. Does anyone have any experience with either and any tips for things I should look out

New to me, model E 329
We’ve seen this model on the forum before--35mm less crown, 17mm lug width, steel case with brushed sides, mirror-finish lugs and bezel, very sharp, very crisp edges, and a classic mid-century styling. Cool cross hair seconds and hours/minutes and three dauphine hands. Charming date wheel with alter

As promised, two fresh pictures of my Jaeger Lecoultre Master Mariner Deep Sea.
A step below the Deep Sea Alarm and the Polaris, and I would rank it also above the Shark, the Master Mariner Deep Sea doesn't lack charm. With a 37 mm case, some find it too small. Personally, I find it very cool. A tad funky, but not too much, sensual, with a nice presence on the wrist. The hidden

Jaeger Lecoultre Master Mariner Deep Sea.
It is not every day I see a Master Mariner Deep Sea. Less famous than the Deep Sea Alarm, Geophysic or Polaris, it doesn't lack charm. A bit macho, more macho than the sensual Deep Sea Alarm, smaller ( 37 mm ), it has a nice presence on the wrist. One of the very good vintage Diving Jaeger Lecoultre
