📖 About This Reference

The Master Ultra Thin reference 190.8.96 represents Jaeger-LeCoultre's approach to slim-profile watchmaking within the Master collection. This reference belongs to the Ultra Thin series, positioned as a dress watch offering within the broader Master range. The 40mm stainless steel case houses an automatic movement and features a silver dial protected by sapphire crystal. The watch incorporates a fixed bezel design and provides 50 meters of water resistance, suitable for basic daily wear protection. This reference appeals to collectors seeking a contemporary dress watch with automatic winding capability. The 40mm case size positions it within modern sizing preferences, while the stainless steel construction and silver dial configuration offer versatility for both casual and formal wear applications. The automatic movement eliminates the need for manual winding in regular rotation.

LeCoultre booklets
Seeking information on rare booklets that came with certain vintage LeCoultre watches. Requesting photos, scans, and sizes for personal database. Acknowledges limited knowledge on topic, but hopeful for responses.

2010 Gentleman's Driver Offshore
Small Royal Oak Offshore run in 2010 with unique colors, bezel, and tach. Decisions on coloring subdials confusing, suggested coordinating with orange. Interesting piece in Offshore history, red version also available.

Polaris' prime business is making snowmobiles, so didn't know they made these types of cars. Cheers, Anthon

Cheap can be stunning!
I just returned from a long diving trip to the Far East. On the way back I had nothing to do on the plane and started to list my watch purchases in 2009. What I concluded was that last year I bought 10 new watches with an average purchase price of a bit over € 19,000. But the shocking thing was that
