Description
Offering for sale my IWC Ceramic Fliegeruhr Chronograph 3705
with “T SWISS MADE T” creamy tritium dial and hands.
I rate it about 95% with some light superficial scratches-wear
on the case back. No box or papers but I am including the original
IWC leather strap, an IWC Kevlar strap, the original IWC stainless
steel buckle, and a cordovan horween aviator strap. Recently serviced
by Jostmar in Costa Mesa. This watch was first introduced in 1993 and
produced up until 1997. A rare bird.
I am a long time Paneristi and watch collector and can provide
numerous references upon request or you can just post a references
wanted for me.

This is the ceramic version of the 3706 stainless steel flieger
Ceramic case made of zirconium oxide (extremely durable, hardness greater than steel) - said to be “..impervious to cuts, dents and scratches”.
According to the IWC catalog (1993?) this high-tech ceramic allowed for Stealth technology to be possible
Caseback, crown and pushers in stainless steel.
