FS: IWC Portofino Moonphase ref 5251

This is the original model from 1985, not the recent re-edition from 'vintage collection'

You probably already know most of the details of this legendary watch if you are reading this (for those who don't, please have a look at Steve G excellent review of it), so I will limit the description to the specifics of the watch for sale

This 5251 is from the early series with solid back.
It has its period box and an official certificate of origin from IWC
The watch is currently on a nice dark grey recent crocodile strap, but I will include the original period IWC buckle and calf strap too (for collection purpose mostly because they are original to the watch, but the strap is in used condition and the buckle is of the old size so would require a custom-made strap by today's standards should you wish to use it as it takes a 22mm strap tapering to 18mm).
