Grand Seiko 35 jewel chronometer Handwind Vintage 5722-9990

i am very sad to let this go, but needs must so i'll let someone else benefit from my need to sell. i purchased this about 18months or more ago from another forum member and have worn it sparingly. it is in superb condition with only a few very light lines on the lugs. very much in keeping with a watch of this age which has been lovingly looked after.

this watch is, i believe the 2nd model grand seiko. it has the 5722 calibre 35 jewel chronometer certified low beat movement with quickset date. the case is approx 37mm diameter plus crown. the dial is perfect, the case is near perfect, the caseback is superb and has intact the Grand Seiko Lion gold medallion which shows how old it is, shortly after this they changed to the GS gold medallion. the movement is perfect and keeps fabulous time as you would expect.

it comes with a croc grain black leather strap and original Grand Seiko Buckle.

this watch is so good that it has even appeared as the HoMe Masthead on one occasion.

i think the price is fair for a grand Seiko in this condition, but you can always negotiate.
