Breitling Cosmonaute

All original Vintage Breitling 809 Cosmonaute 24 hr chronograph from 1967. In extremely good, all original condition with time and chronograph functions in perfect working order. Watch winds and runs very smoothly, keeps excellent time and all functions work as they should. The bezel moves with no issues. You may notice in some of the photos that the 12 hour chrono counter doesnt rest at 12 but slightly to the 11 side - see pics. I got the watch back from my watchmaker today with the hand re-set in the correct 12 position - see the last photo. The watch comes with an original 60's JB Champion mesh bracelet and a black lizard strap with single keeper in the style of the original straps sold with the watch, on an original 60's Breitling two plane buckle. The watch was purchased from a very reputable Navitimer dealer/historian in 2010 and has lived almost exclusively in my safe since (I have literally worn this watch under 10 times in 4 years).
