Front view, courtesy of BP, as I can't get this good a photo with my iPhone ;-( Photos of the actual watch are below.
The watch is in TZ 97% Near-Mint condition, with very faint scratches on the outsides of the lugs and light desk diving marks on the buckle. I couldn't get them to show in my photographs. Accuracy is well within COSC. The watch has been treated like a newborn baby: never been dropped, not worn in any sports, never dived, never in salt water. Strap is like new. Sapphire Bezel, crystal and caseback are perfect.
It was purchased by me from an AD in late 2011, and it has recently been back to BP for a checkup, which it passed with flying colors.
It comes complete with all boxes, papers and warranty card, including Waterproof Pelikan box and sailcloth travel case. The travel case is actually useful, as it protects the watch in your suitcase while not flattening the strap and deployant.
The watch lists for $24,700 new, but I am offering mine for a bargain price of $15,990, overnight shipping included, since I will soon have another incoming watch. I have 100% feedback on eBay as roj1912, and references. You may return it within 3 days, unworn, if the condition is different than what you see in the photos or what I have said above.
Some interesting things you may not know about the BP FF watches, and this one in particular:
- you can run the chronograph as much as you want, even using the chronograph as a full-time second hand,
without harming the movement or changing the accuracy
- You can operate the chronograph underwater to the maximum depth of 300 meters!
- The day, date, month and moon phase are all adjustable by pushing levers underneath the lugs with
your fingernail, so no tool is needed; and they can be adjusted at any time without harming the movement!
- The Complete Calendar has a brand new 66BF8 movement; it does not use the (relatively) old F185 movement
found in the standard FF chronograph.
- The lume is amazing - I can read the watch all night!
- The sapphire bezel (also with lume underneath) is a work of art!
- The deployant is also a work of art, with every surface polished to perfection - far better than
the AP deployant, for one example.
- The watch keeps time on my winder as well as it does on my wrist - well within COSC.
