    📖 About This Reference

The A. Lange & Söhne Cabaret Moonphase, reference 118.032, was introduced in 2004 and discontinued in 2009. This particular reference is distinguished by its rectangular case and moon phase complication, offering a distinct aesthetic within the brand's portfolio, which is more commonly associated with round cases. It represents a period where A. Lange & Söhne explored more varied case shapes while maintaining its commitment to traditional Saxon watchmaking. The watch features an 18kt rose gold case measuring 25.5 mm by 36.3 mm, excluding the lugs, with a thickness of 9.1 mm. It is powered by the manual-winding caliber L931.5, a shaped movement specifically designed to fit the rectangular case. The dial is silver, protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and the watch is fitted with a brown leather strap. This reference appeals to collectors seeking a less common A. Lange & Söhne model with a unique case shape and a sophisticated complication. Its limited production run and the bespoke nature of its movement contribute to its rarity and desirability in the secondary market. The Cabaret Moonphase stands as an example of the brand's technical and design versatility.

    The Cabaret Moonphase
Rare A. Lange & Söhne Cabaret Moonphase from 2004-2009 showcased in pink and yellow gold variants. Movement details shared. Moonphase version in colored gold less popular but potentially a hidden gem.

And why not hope for the come-back of the Cabaret ?
As the proud owner of a pink gold Cabaret, I was wondering if it would not be appropriate for Lange & Söhne to reintroduce it in its catalog. The simple Cabaret was present in various versions in the Saxon Manufacture's offer between 1997 and 2010. The Tourbillon Cabaret (which I must confess I have

Christmas came early: Lange Cabaret Moonphase
It's a pity that the 118.021 is no longer made. I hope Lange will start the Cabaret series back up again with a WG or Platinum Moonphase edition next year, but keep it the same size. I noticed that when Lange enlarged the case size of the "Cabaret Tourbillon," the date suddenly looked too small and

    A. Lange & Sohne Cabaret Moonphase review........................
So I had been looking to add a rectangular watch to my collection for a while now. Three or four years ago, after going through many options, I decided that a Lange Cabaret Moonphase would be the watch to go with. With that being said, it was real hard to find many live pictures or reviews done for

    Lange Cabaret Moonphase
I have long been an admirer of Lange watches and recently came across an unworn Cabaret Moon Phase in Rose Gold at a local dealer. Whilst I had not considered the Cabaret range before (only ever considered the Lange 1) this particular piece is very elegant and would be a perfect dress watch. It seem

    The mysterious Cabaret...
Everybody has noticed that in the latest Lange catalogue, the Cabaret Tourbillon is the only representative of the Cabaret line: But in Lange website, the gold versions of the classic Cabaret are still present: One thing is sure: the Cabaret Moonphase was discontinued in 2009: So con we expect chang
