what I do not like is the way you put everything int he same brand, high end, low end, too many lines. On the short run it can work, in the long run, no one can identify you as an high end or low end, your Image is not clear, that was a problem for me with JLC before. Now it's slowly getting better.
For example Longines is making auality watches at an interesting Price, nothing high end, no crazy design or complication but good Price for what it offers. It's different from the manufacture it was once, but well there is a clear image. Vacheron has for me a clear Image of a romantic super high end watch, Patek a more rigid one (and it's not a disadvantage), Rolex reliable Sport watches.
But here I'am asking myself what is Montblanc? Kind of low grade copies of JLC/VC under another Name? Crazy complication? The same for JLC when Mr Lambert was at the head. It's ok because you buy a watch not a brand and some can appeal to you, but after some years Image is lost.
Going far back to Minerva, it was clearly identified as a brand of chronograph, with an interesting three Hands caliber and a mysterious Tourbillon. Now, what is Montblanc?
