There is an interesting history around the relationship and split between IWC and PD at the time which has probably prevented this from ever happening.

A few pics of my old PD Ocean 500 next to its big brother, Ocean 2000. I sold the former and kept the latter as I wasn't wearing it as much, but it's a lovely little IWC nugget :-D ...

A shame there's no successor in the line up, the closest I can think of is the Sinn T50 with its push down bezel. Never understood why IWC never followed up.
