Very glad to have the opportunity to have some hands-on time with the Sarpaneva Lunations, a finalist in the GPHG Calendar and Astronomy category. This particular model is also the first to house Sarpaneva first ultra-precise in-house calibre, the moonphase complication here is the second most accurate in the world and only needs to be adjusted for a single day of error only once every 14,000 years
Most importantly, this is such a gorgeous piece with tons of character in the dial and case. If there is any Sarpaneva watch that I would love to own, this is definitely the one š

I love what he's done with that moon disk. I wonder if there is any truth to the rumors that Andreas Strehler helped with the calculations. Sarpaneva is a master of the moon phase, regardless.

I am hoping to check one out in the metal as well. They are so hard to come by! How does it wear? Iām a little concerned about the size for my thin wrist
