A couple of Mother of Pearl (MOP) dials… and some other CSs

Hi folks, I stopped by the LA boutique yesterday to say hello. I was greeted with a freshly made Aperol Spritz and finished the night sipping whiskey.

Best of all I met some collectors who were also passionate about the brand.

I wanted to share a couple shots of the recently discontinued MOP dials; specifically the wide range of appearance the RG version has: from “straight” on the dial looks more traditional like the Pt MOP dial, but at an angle, the RG pink dial transitions to almost a complete salmon dial. Very cool! For comparison, the Pt version “ keeps” its bluish tone at most angles.

It was also nice, someone was picking up their first piece, RG Havana CS. And the RG CS printed dial’s case was the most patina’s and looked most yellow.

It's hard to get a good idea of how these watches look in real life, but my favorite here would be the white dial (left on the last photo): simple and beautiful for me. Best, Emmanuel

I have the Pt Nacre and another collector brought the RG Nacre.

pieces would patina “into” the 6N color. I am more attracted to the 8N as it is a warmer tone. Maybe in 2019 you could have got your CO and mop CS at the same time 😀

In hindsight I would have done that for sure. Back then everything was in stock and the logic was that everything would be available in the future. C’est la vie!
