Vagabondage v Zodiaque
I had the opportunity to look at the Vagabondage and the Zodiaque for purchase at the same time. Actually I had them sent to me for evaluation so that I could select one.
From the pictures I really liked the zodiaque a lot, but the Vagabondage was so, well, different. Where I thought I would wear the Zodaique a good amount, I could not think of a time where I would wear the Vagabondage that I would not just wear my dead seconds.
So in they come. I still love the zodiaque, but I gotta tell you I liked wearing the vagabondage with Jeans and a black T-shirt. What I thought would be a special occasion watch could now be an (occasional) every day watch. Hmm, which to choose.
Yes, most of you have probably guessed. I took both. Its really no wonder people are willing to send me watches for evaluation. I have never sent one back!!!
I am lucky in many ways. For one, I am sure no one is sending be a Sonnaire (sp?) to evaluate!!!
BTW, where both watches look far better in perosn than in pictures (although the forum pics of the Zodiaque are damn close), the vagabondage is not even close to the picture. I almost did not have it sent, I thought it looked, well, wierd. Once it got here, it kind of grew on me very quickly. Anyone who thinks they hate it should see it in person, it may well change your mind. If you think you may like it . . . Stay away, or bring your checkbook.
Collection is getting a little out of hand.
