Time to go for a long drive with my 911 Targa4 GTS, the last free aspiring version.
My traditional Porsche watch is 5960A.
But the watch is missing the tachymeter. At the same time my Porsche is "black on black". Would a black chronograph work better - what do you say?

I think 5975 is exquisite
Black dial. Platinum. A combination that I love. The doctor's complication an added bonus. And.... I don't go for annual calendars!
The dial is lacquered giving a certain depth.
You should try 5960P. It's an amazing watch! I totally ignored it for years till I bought, "by accident", the steel one and the watch kind of opened to me. Best, Kari

Yep.....5960 has its place, but for me that 5975 takes some beating.
The California is too sporty

Very difficult to find a good strap for this dial (other than black). Maybe working on the leather type is a good way to explore. I would say that you could try a white one that would fit with the white markings on the dial. But black leather with white s...
I love that 5975, and as a Porschephile and Patek lover I believe you can do no wrong
Having said that, I never hit the road with anything other than some version of a 5980. Not exactly a 5960, but you know where I'm going with this...
I love my 5980 but the dial is blue.
I have a dark blue Cayanne S but that's not as sporty as 5980/1A. Best, Kari

Never mind which version of Nautilus we speak about, I think that the blue dial is always the best. Blue is somehow the original colour of Nautilus dial. Best, Kari
For me the 5960A is the one who works better with the car.
The Patek is both elegant and sportive especially with that strap. Best.
5960 with black, red and white and matching strap …
pairs well with your Porsche, its dials and your cuff links. That gets my vote. And the sub dial can 'mimick' a tachometer. Aloha, Bob
