Thoughts on 5055 Model (now discontinued)
One of the nicest dials I've seen from Patek was on the 5055 model - especially the 5055G or 5055YG model with the black dial; just stunning.
In addition to being an automatic, it also had reserve indicator and moonphase complications, which are nice to have.
However, during my research of this watch, I have been seeing reports of "lock-up" on this particular model, as if something wasn't quiet right with the caliber in this implementation.
Can someone give me the "skinny" on any issues involving this model?
Does anyone know if Patek will replace it? (And don't mention the dreadful Nautilus implementation of the same complications - that doesn't count!).
