Record auction price for PP
I was at the first Antiquorum Auction 2016 yesterday in HK and saw many beautiful PP went under the hammer, most of them reached the estimates. However, the final lot for the day, a set of "Birds of Paradise" enamel dial made in 15 sets of 4 pieces, saw the number climbing from 2m all the way to 3.2 million within a few minutes, awesome!! With a 20% commission, the final price is close to 4m!!

Buyer & seller paid auction house 20% commission if over 600K hammer price, otherwise its 25%..

Fantastic news. Its a matter of finding the right model. And the right buyer , at times though there are buyers who are really low ballers. People who want to eat prime rib at sardine prices. Its passion. Owning a Patek is a joy and much pleasure to wear....
