Patek 5110G - a small confession to make
When I recently posted about my collection, I missed out the Patek 5110Y that I owned. The reason being is that I had decided to sell it....or more to the point to trade it. So, when I was talking about a need for a world time, I was really thinking about this world time below... yes, i switched from yellow gold to white gold. A simple decision for me. I have very few yellow gold watches and very much prefer the white metals, so it made sense to me to make a simple switch. This is now a new part of my collection....It is my only world time watch, and I am now very happy with my collection....of course...i still miss a Calatrava......uhm......

But you are correct.... this watch is a superb addition. Whenever I used to wear the yellow gold version, i used to love the dial, the complication, the feel of the watch....BUt...and it is a big but for me.....i felt that the yellow metal made it much mo...

I am looking forward to posting an on-the-wrist review in a week or two. Watch dates from 2003 and I am betting hasn't been in for service yet. Really looking forward to wrist time with it.

I definitely love the 5110 but I must admit R, G, and P are my 3 favourite versions. The guilloche dial is absolutely stunning, the 37mm case size is perfect for my wrist, the rounded crownguards are superb. Yes really a great watch, and both G and P vers...
