Looking for Help in NYC area

I just started shopping for my first PP watch and am looking to buy a vintage or a new Calatrava (e.g., like a classic 96).  I am a babe in the woods at this point.

I am in the NY metro area.

Any recommendations (via PM) regarding reputable vintage, gray market and authorized dealers in the NYC metro area?  How about outside of NY, e.g., on-line?

Any recommendations on particular vintage or new models that I should be focussing on, or avoiding?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
