During last weekend a dear fellow Purist(S) paved my way to a small informal reception at the local Hublot boutique.
It was my first contact with the brand, people were nice, they had some interesting stuff from the technological perspective, but their designs was not made for me.
Then we were highly surprised when suddenly somebody came up with a Zenith DEFY LAB!

A stunning watch with its silicon oscillator oscillating (I find no other word) behind the dial.
Will
this revolutionary new "escapement" really be used to establish ranges
of very affordable watches for mechanical watch novices similar to a
mechanical Swatch, as we were told?
We will see.
A very special treat was the present we get handed over when we left. Now this is really rare and cool. Just like a DEFY LAB!

A piece of JCB's legendary cheese. P15 seems to be very attracted. And I am very curious to taste it.
Thanks a lot to the Hublot boutique team for their hospitality, the given insights into their products and the special excursion into Zenith waters.
Best, Martin
