Flightmaster? Could someone help Identify this watch?

Can anyone give me some more information about this watch. The owner is calling it a "Flightmaster" perhaps after it's similar look to to some other watches that carry the flightmaster moniker. I have never heard of a Glashutte watch with this name. I can not find a reference anywhere. I know the watch is from the GDR era and it has an ETA 2824-2 movement instead of the in house 10-30 found in many of the watches from Glashutte at that time. I like the look of the watch dial and the relative smallness of the case (38 mm X 8mm) compared with a new Navigator. Also to my eye date windows should be at either 3 or 12  or I find I am searching for it for a few seconds and turning my wirist to get a glimpse. Anyway, any information on this watch and it's relative rareity would be appreciated.

Thanks

Fred
