Fair trade ... Omega Museum 1945

Team,

I got this watch about one year back and it was, quickly, "confiscated" by my wife.

Last week, since she was hooked on a Cartier Balon Bleu (I will post pictures when and how I can remove it from her wrist), I proposed a trade:

Cartier x Omega Museum.

She promptly agreed and now, the Museum 1945 returned to my possession.

The Omega Museum line, is composed of a small series of re editions that maintains the watch style but with a modern movement inside.

Love it.

The Omega Museum 1945 Number three or Office's Watch, has the following characteristics:

Stainless steel, fixed bezel, black dial, manual wind (Cal. 3200), 30-minute column-wheel chronograph, Ref. 5702.50.02, 37.5mm.
Case width: 37.5 mm
Lug Width: 20 mm

The caliber 3200, according to my sources, is made as a variation of the Omega 3303 (F. Piguet). Nice, smooth and (by my experience) very reliable and accurate.

Let's see some pictures:

The dial is complex and I could say somehow hard to read. Who cares, it's just beautiful.

The 37.5mm case size dresses perfectly and looks more large on my wrist.

The case back is the classic Museum Collection:

A mandatory "Blomman" style shot.

Some B&W pictures:

Love this B&W picture:

Originally I got this watch from a dear friend.

Thank you, you know who.

Thanks for seeing and a great week to all,

Nilo
