buying a patek but concerned
I am interested in purchasing a simple mans dress watch 3919, 5120, 5010 and remotely possible 5065a. I am concerned about the split stem on the manual winders, are there problems? does the 5010 use a split stem? can anyone give me their experiences with the mentioned pieces?
The salespeople in my area are not that knowing about patek, they all say it's a great watch, but are not technicians. This forum has many savvy individuals who may shed some on my concerns.
