Aquanaut question...
Hello all. I am looking to purchase two matching timepieces to use as "wedding watches" in leiu of wedding bands for our upcoming ceremony.
I have narrowed my search down Aquanaut 5065/1 and 5066/1, both with SS bracelets, as I believe the 5066 would still be a good size for her (she's 5'10" and likes big rings, jewerly, ect...). Believe it or not, I have found a dealer that has both in stock (or so they claim). Other options might be AP, Rolex, Breitling, ect... but, we both are sold on PP as a timepiece befitting to mark this occasion (now and future). We like the versatility of the Aquanaut, along with the Nautilus.
I know this is a PP board, so hence the bias. I am open to suggestions, but, my question is this: Is there any reason NOT to go with the Aquanaut (5065/1, 5066/1? Or, might there be another matching choice?
I'd really appreciate some honest feedback.(Sorry, but, I am not an expert, collector or conniseur - just someone with an appreciation for fine things...)
