Patek Philippe

An Authentic Patek Phillipe?

I'm not a watch expert. But I like beautiful watches. I wonder if there is a way to tell if this is an authentic Patek Phillipe? I did Google the number on the back, if that is the model number, and found a number for sale on the internet, though they do not look like this one. I've seen some pretty fancy knock-offs from China these last few years. But this one stumps me. The workmanship is quite unusual. The mechanism works perfectly - reset the time and ALL the dials reset automatically, and correctly. It keeps absolutely perfect time. It's quite unlike my visually perfect but functionally imperfect $35 Vacheron Constantin sent by a friend from China. Would there be a way to identify authenticity, outside of finding a high-end jeweller? Even the hint of authenticity? I live in the country, a long drive to any jeweller -- but if there was the slightest possibility this was authentic, it might be worth the drive. All ears, Ben
