Dear all, Would you feel concerned that the Langmatik perpetual does not feature the manufactoy-made balance spring and balance wheel ? It seems that most models are being replaced by new models featuring those in-house parts. What are your feelings ? Bes...  

... especially in car industry : the last evolutions seem to be best ones. But I think that in Horlogy it is somethnig to resist to and to control. Don't pay to much attention to the last evolutions (that are not always "better" generally speaking in the ... 

I like the new balance spring, but the Langematik is a beautiful and tried movment and, for what it is worth, my perpetual runs spot-on after been for service, zero seconds deviation after several weeks. Best Andreas

I've never been concerned about this, nor have I heard it expressed before. Mine has been problem-free for the better part of a decade.

... is that it is still using the Sax-O-Mat movement! That's the most important! Fx
