Patek Philippe

A note about accuracy / 3445

I recently purchased a YG 3445 made circa 1970. I was hesitant about buying another mechanical watch as accuracy is very important to me and I've been let down by mechanicals in the past. I owned a Hamilton that was frequently off by minutes per day despite many servicings in Switzerland. I also had similar problems with a recent model IWC Chronograph that seems to break down (expensively) on a yearly basis. Living in New York is too hard for them I guess. Not so my Patek 3445. So far, it's been incredibly accurate. I have one of those radio clocks that receives updates form the atomic clock in Colorado and so far, over a perfiod of weeks, my Patek lines up perfectly with it every time I've checked. Anyone have similar stories?
