5085 with 240 winding problem

I have very recently purchased a 5085 watch. I love it.
But, (Why is there always a But ?) I seem toi be having a problem with it.
This has the Caliber 240 PS + IRM + C + LU aut.
It has a 48 hour Power reserve indicator.

I started off by winding the watch fully to 48 hours reserve.
All day it stays there (That is to be expected)
At night I lay it down Crown UP and in the morning the reserve is showing 36 hours (Again as I would expect).
I put the watch on again and during the entire day the Power reserve does NOT go up at all. It just "Holds it's own" at 36.
If I actually shake the watch it does wind and will go to 48 Reserve.
I do spend most of my time sitting at a desk (at least 8 hours a day) and I do not walk much (I work at home).
I purchased the watch at an official Patek dealer and he has already said if it's faulty he will replace it ... But, the BIG question is ..... Is this faulty or is my lifestyle too slow ?
Just to add a little more info .. I also have a Nautilus 3800 -- This never gave me a problem and always wound with no problem. It does have a different caliber with the large rotor though.
Does anyone have any ideas or comments please. I am not sure what to do. I do not want to change the watch if it's behaviour is normal.

My Patek dealer is in Central London (UK) & I must say has been TOTALLY excellent in his behaviour and support.

I look forward to you comments,

Thanks in advance,

Charles N
