3940 Question
Hello,
After lurking for some time I decided to join the fun!
Question regarding 3940s. Some have very pronounced day/night indicators while others are barely there. Is one considered more desirable? Sometimes they appear with patina/cracking.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Here it is ... but I must say that except the one in the middle, they are pretty hard to find... or unique ? ...
The G is this 3rd series freak with an X instead of a +. As Mr Stern wears in J.
The J is a regular 2nd series, Italian dial.
Contrast on the AM/PM subdial
I am not a fan of the dark- light contrast indicator on the am/pm sub-dial which mostly appeared on the platinum models. Its a matter of taste I guess.
its not unusual, or more/less desirable
it also seems random on which have it and which don't - seem to be more in second and third series...
