Dear friends

We all know what POTUS means
but some of us also know what POTW was.
Now…. in fond memory of my dear friend and legendary HoMe moderator AndrewD
I'll start new series of posts what he best described as
"
series of posts to provide some background and insights into the collectors on PPro".

Little background

POTW – Purist of the Week original idea of AndrewD was to “have insights into an individual’s motivations and interests allowing you to get the most from their musings about watches, life, the universe and everything”

so, news series called POTM – Purist of the Month will be just that!

Since we had 12 original POTW posts (at least official ones’ and three more unofficial by another Antipodean dear friend the legendary member pplater)

I’ll send this weekend email with 12 question to first batch of 12 members to answer.

New POTM post will be aired each first of the month in 2017.

I hope you’ll like it

Yours

D

P.S. Please check your PM’s this weekend you never know wink

and remember:

There is no place like HoMe!

There is not only a lot to learn a bout watches on this site, but as you said "life, the universe and everything". Reading what our wise fellow purists say about these things will be very valuable, at least to me! Good work! I\'ll support this all the way.

I think we learn a lot and can appreciate very much reading about others' choices and feeling about watches experience. Thanks D! Cheers, Mark
