zabreg1 Mr White addresses a concerning rise in disrespectful discourse within the forum, advocating for a return to civility and mutual respect among members. He uses a personal example to underscore the importance of individual preference and calls for a zero-tolerance policy against racism, insults, and stereotyping to preserve the community's integrity.

Lately, I have noticed some vitriol in the forum that wasn’t present before. There has been a degradation of respectful conversation and opinions. Starting with racism, insults, stereotyping, etc... this has gone too far for my liking.
As a member, I feel this is a place where I am allowed to express my honest opinion and not be disrespected for it. Disagreed with, surely, but not disrespected.
So, if I decide this is a look for me, it is my prerogative.

Like it or not, it is my decision. I am always willing to read other people’s comments and opinions, as long as they are respectful. I might ght listen to you or I might not.

In any case, this is just my attempt at adding some levity to a serious issue. It is not meant to be polarizing.
Rather, I would like to help dial back some of the behaviors described above.
Let’s keep this a place where civilized people exchange opinions, ideas and passions, and where each is respected, not based on personal preference but on the merit of the person him or herself.
In my opinion, there should be a zero tolerance policy of such behavior.

I hope you all have a nice Sunday.

I think you make a number of very valid points. Nobody has a monopoly on ā€œgood tasteā€. Therefore nobody should feel entitled to judge another based on pure subjective taste. Totally agree. Racism and stereotyping are interesting subjects and have obviously been discussed by the Moderator team. I think it is right to say that each individual has a spectrum of tolerance for racism. Some see it as a part of everyday life and accept it as that. Some say that most racism is imagined rather than reall

But that's only my opinion, and I am not soooo often here.... Maybe I just pass by the things that are not my piece of cake - as in normal life... Regarding your pictures in this post: Might be your style, and that's fine. Not mine though... Is this (still) allowed to say here? šŸ˜‰

But seriously, as you said, we all have different styles and tastes. And that’s a good thing. Cheers.

Did you credit the pictures accordingly? I’m not sure I buy you having the chronograph running constantly
