Andy's 3000th post on WatchProSite celebrates not just a personal milestone but also the profound community spirit that defines the platform. His narrative highlights how online connections can lead to extraordinary real-world experiences, culminating in an exclusive Audemars Piguet manufacture trip. This post serves as a testament to the friendships and shared passion that make WatchProSite a unique horological home.
Purists is an amazing site which is said by many family members here...everybody I have met has been a friend from the first meeting. But this site also leads to other interesting joys.
My generous dealer last weekend gave me a gift which was amazing (http://ap.watchprosite.com/show-forumpost/fi-3/pi-5788593/ti-852643/s-0/) but also said something else....confirmation came today and gift 2 is....
A 2 day trip to Switzerland...collection by AP in Geneva, 5* hotel, lunch with the directorate, a tour of the AP manufacturer including the Grand Complication room, museum and view of the current collection, followed by dinner in the mountains.....!!!!! I'm still speachless by this and this would never happened if I hadn't been encouraged to follow my dreams and hobby through the friends on this site.
3000 posts is a milestone for me (nothing compared to our Nico but he posts 24/7 so that's not a fair comparison..!!) LOL
Here are a few pics from my time here over the years......

A big thanks to everybody here for everything

Yours,
Andy.
Andy, It's a great mark. I'm waiting for the great pictures and stories to come. Cheers, Nilo Note: Our cats, Noel Rosa and Nara Leão sent their congratulations.
. . . to thank you for being such a stalwart member of the community, Andy. How are the plans for a trip our way coming along? :-)
And i hope to meet you soon my friend :-) Be it in Paris, Manchester, Londen or Leeds ;-) Bim
...when I get to my 1000, then maybe I'll start dreaming of similar gifts Thanks for sharing your thoughts, opinions and watches with us here. Richard
