Following JLC announcement early this year.......I think Cartier offer 8 years too (i'm not sure though) now IWC announce 8 years warranty ! Which brand do you think will break first into 10 years Warranty Period.... Best, mahesh.,

They're going to roll this 8-year standard to all their brands eventually when it makes fiscal sense and when each maison is ready to take on the increased workload. As for a 10-year warranty, I think the Swatch Group brands (Omega, Breguet, Blancpain, et al) would be the best candidates to roll this type of extended warranty out as a way to stay in step with or slightly ahead of their luxury group rival.
you're an encyclopedia Nico !! btw, you've a texto.
I was anticipating Rolex bcos i think most of them never hit service table before 10 years i guess - no? Best, mahesh.,
I think Rolex is the first company with 10 yrs. They were early adopters with the current policy and Rolex watches are broadly speaking less complex because they only have so many complications in their lineup.
They may roll it back to a year. Lol.
the service should be after ππ
