In this captivating post, WatchProSite's own samwan shares a personal look into his exquisite collection of watches featuring enamel dials, acquired during an unprecedented lockdown. His candid 'mug shots' offer an intimate glimpse into the allure of these horological treasures, including a Breguet 5177, a Moser Heritage Perpetual Calendar, and a Patek Philippe 5131J. Samwan's journey highlights the unique appeal and subtle nuances that make enamel dials a coveted feature among collectors.

My apologies for the hastily taken mug shots - there is nothing better to do in this irritating lock-down.

First on stage is the Breguet 5177 in white gold, my new love. I was torn between the blue dial and the white - eventually I picked the latter because of the minimalist effect. Like Nico, I was "disturbed" by the date window but after a while, I got used to it.... BTW, I love the secret signature which can only be revealed under proper lighting.

Then the Moser Heritage Perpetual Calendar Midnight Blue, which came into my possession about a month ago...

And the 5131J, a piece I have coveted for a long time.

And a group photo. Voila...

Promise to take some nicer pictures soon.

Sam

Wonderful trio.

I have only one enamel, but I love it.

Love to know more about this gem?

I’m not familiar with this model, was it a small series? Thanks for sharing it btw. Cheers, Tim

Hi Tim, yes, it is limited. Lange doesn’t do a lot of enamel and for me this was love at first sight.

This is the 1815 thin honeygold.
