I am thankful to be invited by Mr Jerome Lambert, Global CEO of Montblanc as well as Mr Ong Ban, CEO of Sincere Fine Watches for a cocktail event tonight to appreciate the newest Montblanc watch novelties launched during SIHH 2015.

Finally I can see these watches in the metal, especially the Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum which so many of you had shared before.

Even before the event started, I managed to see this piece smile)

A steel version with strap, a steel version with an improved steel bracelet and new deployment buckle as well as a rose gold version

Such a beauty in the hands. I could admire the layers of sapphire glass in the dial making up the map of the northern hemisphere, for a long time. The colors and design are just nice to me!

What do you think? A tad big for me? Or ok? I adjusted the strap to fit snugly

Steel bracelet version on my wrist. The bracelet and deployment buckle feel better than the previous MB bracelets and also nicely weighted. Looks wise, I prefer the leather strap although a steel bracelet is practical in hot and humid Singapore.

Sincere's CEO welcoming us to the event

Mr Lambert giving us an intro of the new watches. I spent some time chatting with him today and he well aware of our posts and participation here on the Montblanc PuristSPro forum. I am also impressed with his level of energy sharing the various timepieces with many of my fellow PuristS who attended, especially on the Villeret collection and craftsmanship

Mr Lambert explained some manufactures are more engineers centric but Montblanc Villeret is very watchmaker centric in the most traditional way, something I can see and experience from my very own Villeret watch which I wore to the event today.

My companion tonight. smile
I am proud that many fellow collectors played with my watch and we're happy with its smooth chronograph functions and high finishing of the entire watch smile

Ken shared this heritage perpetual calendar skeleton some weeks ago - this watch will be officially launched soon.

I like it on my wrist smile fits well

Some other watches from the new Heritage Chronometrie series below. Sorry I didn't have the chance to request them to take them out of the glass displays as they were too busy serving other guests.

Heritage Chronometrie Quantieme Complet Vasco Da Gama LE 566

Heritage Chronometrie Quantieme Annual calendar

Heritage Chronometrie Dual time

Heritage Chronometrie Exotourbillon Minute Chronograph and the Vasco da Gamma LE 60 edition

The mighty Tourbillon Cylindrique Geospheres Vasco da Gama. I still have to write Part 3 on this watch focusing on the artisanal aspects of his beauty!

Mr Lambert personally handling me this watch and a loupe to admire the dial. The 2 spheres are crafted out of gold and enamel. He asked me to look through the loupe from near to far to admire the changing colors and depths of the enamel work. I was so lucky to see this watch up close and personal!

I should be able to get more time to look at these novelties in detail next week - stay tuned smile

For now my favorite remains the Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum. What do you guys think? Not too big on my small wrist (6.2 to 6.3 inch) I hope?

Cheers
Robin

I told you this Watch is even better in the real than in pictures. Thanks for the report, and if you see Jérôme Lambert again, please say hello from me! Best, Nicolas

just about the maximum that you can handle. A big plus is that the colorful and lively map keeps my focus more centered to the dial, not the contour of the case. This makes the whole watch visually appears a tad smaller than it actually is.

For your vote of confidence on my wrist size lol Jerome is fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed my chats with him last night. He also spent time with fellow PuristS explaining the new watches. He left Singapore late last night - I hope to meet him again Cheers Robin

It looks a tad smaller due to the attention on the map on the dial instead of the case. I am going to order this watch already!!! )) Cheers Robin
