5 X more couples got married today

In Singapore, despite being 'Hungry Ghost" or All Souls lunar calendar month (usually considered unlucky), 5 times the normal number of couples registered their marriage today. They received that special marriage certificate with 09-09-09 on it. Many ladies commented that their husband now has absolutely NO excuse to forget the anniversary or presents in future..... they've been warned! MTF
