I just never get around to sharing the pictures. I must search back on my phone. So, any new conclusions from these visits?
Conclusions: 1. That IWC is crazy good 2. Start a chrono twenty four search for the H Moser Streamliner Flyback Chronograph in Blue.
Since the mid 2000s until probably mid 2010s I constantly thought of buying one of these (not this dial variant obviously). I did actually own the Portuguese Perpetual for several years, but that didn’t satisfy my desire for this one. I did never get there on it, and I’ve long since sold the Perpetual. These days either watch is too much for my small wrist. But I agree, this dial variant is very very attractive. And no competition with the Moser, they are very different watches.
It’s a big watch by today’s standards, but it’s robust. Would you consider getting a Moser?
I’ve tried countless dial iterations on over the years and just didn’t sing to me. The Streamliner however I do like. The Chronograph is a beast, but too large for my wrist. The base model, I’ve tried on a few times and it would be a watch I could see myself buying. But there is a lot of competition for watch dollars and so I don’t see a Moser in the near future.
