Yes please! 😜 I finally got my custom made aquamarine Maya leather strap for the Ferrovie dello Stato an I think it complements the impossibly white dial very well as a summery splash of a rather unusual color.

Nice size on the wrist.

Ridiculously sharp and pristine case edges...

...along with the original signed crown.

The typography of the numerals, especially the 9 are so cool!

This one is a keeper, I am blown away by this mesmerizing whiteness of the enamel dial.

And I find it rather amusing and very "italian" for a Railroad watch to lack hacking function and a chronometer rating ... wink

These are so much fun!

And we’re a great way to enjoy the brand on a budget until recently. Not sure if that has changed. Here’s mine saying hi 👋🏻

I don´t know the realistic value of these,

but the sum I paid for mine a few months ago was in the ballpark of a new plastic Moonswatch which is amazing value imho. You also have a very nice example, I feel these watches are real strap monsters - I can imagine a number of spectacular strap combinations that really work well. Too bad the lug width is 19mm.

And the original buckle is 14mm 🤦🏻‍♂️

19/14 is practically only available as custom made 🤷🏻‍♂️ But agreed with you - pairs well with so many straps 😊👍🏻

Are you sure these had a specific pin buckle?

I have read somewhere that these watches were only delivered "head only" to the italian government and then equipped with any straps that were available at the time. But I sadly can not confirm this information.

I got it with a supposedly correct buckle…

But without a strap 😁 But do not have a 100% certainty either way 😊🤷🏻‍♂️
