For Vacheron Constantin Overseas owners, the integrated quick-release strap system is a hallmark feature, yet finding aftermarket options that maintain the watch's aesthetic and comfort can be a challenge. Jlux's exploration of Delugs straps offers a valuable perspective on enhancing the wearability and personalization of the Overseas, particularly for those with smaller wrists who find the OEM straps too stiff or prone to flaring. His detailed review and wrist shots provide a practical guide for collectors seeking alternatives to Vacheron Constantin's standard offerings.

To better take advantage of the quick exchange system I ordered a new strap from Delugs located in Singapore.

The OEM strap that comes with the watch is extremely stiff and flares out from the wrist (unless you have a real big wrist). From both a comfort and aesthetic point of view I could not arrange myself with this strap.
On top,VC is offering only pretty conservative looking strap colors.

As to my knowledge,Singapore based Delugs company is the only one offering after-market straps fitted with attachments that match the specific VC quick exchange system.

They have a lot of different leather/color combinations but as I wanted something that underlines the modern/urban look of the silver dial version, I opted for a Epsom leather strap with "tinware grey" color.
The quick exchange system works as intended and I am very happy with my choice.

Here a quick wrist shot that shows how well this strap wraps around my wrist (17 cm).

Best,
Gerard

Delugs has made an incredible strap

It took a while to create the perfect fitting shape to tightly hold the strap onto the case. I've sent then an email suggesting to make a strap for the Finissimo, looking forward to having cheaper alternatives... By the way, I truly appreciate VC's choice to provide extra straps That's an habit that should be followed by basically every high end manufactures, they wouldn't go broke by being generous.

A strap for the Finissimo would be great.

I would order one for sure!

Perfect match Gerald!

This taupe tone is perfect for the silver coloured dial here. I have a similar strap for my Lange and it’s such a versatile color too! Bravo

Looks great.

I didn't know there was an aftermarket strap option. Going to take a look now...
