Long story short, been after a Malte Perpetual Chronograph in PT for a LONG time but never found the right one. This one was serendipitous as it came from a long time friend so keeping it in the horological family 😉

Having worn it for a few hours, I can honestly say it is the PERFECT size for us with chicken wrists 🐔 🤣. At 39mm, we cannot get more perfect than that.

The hunter case back adds heft to the already substantial PT case and a nice added touch IMHO. The lugs and case really attract me to the Malte series and for me, it is pure VC DNA.

The dial details are amazing and I LOVE the moonphase. Needless to say, I am a happy camper 😁

Glad to see the supermodel again, happy to hear that his doing better, and I love your choice for this VC! I owned it about a decade ago, and it truly is an amazing pice. Due to its reduced size and hefty weight I used to call it the Platinum ball.🤣 Here’s a picture of it with the other VC’s I used to own back then. Those were glory days of VC.🥂
