Long story short, been after a Malte Perpetual Chronograph in PT for a LONG time but never found the right one. This one was serendipitous as it came from a long time friend so keeping it in the horological family 😉

Having worn it for a few hours, I can honestly say it is the PERFECT size for us with chicken wrists 🐔 🤣. At 39mm, we cannot get more perfect than that.

The hunter case back adds heft to the already substantial PT case and a nice added touch IMHO. The lugs and case really attract me to the Malte series and for me, it is pure VC DNA.

The dial details are amazing and I LOVE the moonphase. Needless to say, I am a happy camper 😁

Wow, my friend, that is a sublime catch. I was tempted more than once to get this one, or the Malte Chrono PC which came just after. Both are really gorgeous. I can't wait to see this one.

Thanks, and that worn-out, 15-year old shirt looks better close up, I noticed. ha ha.

This is my second 231. I had another one years ago, sold it to make another purchase, and then regretted that blunder ever after. Then I had got this second early this year. It is most definitely a keeper.
