K T's detailed photo essay from a 2010 Ulysse Nardin and The Hour Glass presentation in Kuala Lumpur offers a rich visual archive of both new releases and beloved classics. This post serves as an excellent historical reference, showcasing the brand's aesthetic and technical direction from over a decade ago, and sparking a lively discussion among collectors about design evolution.
All of them have been showcased marvellously in this forum but I thought I'd share it anyway
some nice looking pieces there the perpetual looks good although not sure about the brown strap thx for the review

... I think the brown rubber strap is a perfect match. It is difficult to reproduce the watch's colour on pictures made without calibrated light sources, so the strap might appear a mismatch, but believe me, this is not the case. Regards, Marcus
When the pictures are so great! Some thoughts: 1/ The finish on the Bridges of the Freak. I noticed that for one or 2 years now, UN finished the bridges of the Freak " Hands " with Geneva Stripes. I much preferred without, like it was the case on the former models. Some thoughts, here? 2/ The Royal Tourbillon: What a beast, when it comes in this simple version, not jewelled, I mean. A real beauty. An interesting play of light, due to the transparency of the concept. I am madly in ove with it. 3/
Many thanks for your kind words. I am glad you like them! 1) I tend to agree somewhat. I believe you are thinking that a shinier finish to the 'hand' would gel better with the rest of the case? Any particular pic you would want to view in larger form? I'd have to reprocess and remove dust etc. I normally work on the smaller versions in PS since it saves a lot of time and only process them in larger forms where there is a need for print.
I much prefer the finish on the former Freaks, to say all, as it fits very well with the " concept watch " look. As for the larger pics, I would especially like to see some Royal Blue Tourbillon, Freak, and Forgerons Minute Repeater, if you have the time to do so. The watches, and your pics are so beautiful! Many thanks in advance. Nicolas
