The Finnish master has just released updates to the Gelidus and GG lines, as well as a brand new model called the V38. All photos below were taken from the Laine website.

The Gelidus 3 has a new composite dial design, allowing for multiple different finishes on the same dial. As before, there is a long list of different colors and finishes available. On the movement side, there are two new options for finishing patterns. Price ranges from 8500 to 9000 CHF depending on options.

The GG3 has been given a similar update to the Gelidus, with the option of up to three different guilloche patterns on the same dial. It will also be offered with the new 'signature' and 'calligraphy' movement finishing patterns. The price will range from 8800 to 9800 CHF depending on options.

The most exciting release in my opinion is the new V38. Equipped with a Vaucher 5401 micro-rotor movement, the watch is 38mm by 9mm thick. The V38 has the same dial layout as the other new watches, meaning customization galore. Additionally, this model is equipped with a much nicer set of hands. They are thicker, rounded, and mirror polished. The movement is finished by Vaucher, except for the rotor, which has a similar motif to the 'signature' finish on the Gelidus and GG. It is adjusted in 5 positions. All of this will cost 9400 to 10900 CHF depending on dial choices.

Exciting stuff! More information can be found on Laine's website:

38mm is a fantastic addition

The 41mm of the other models is just too large for a lot of us.

Fantastic!

I wish though he did some more work on the Vaucher movement like he did for the unitas movement but I still like it, espeically the size! Fantastic work, am a big fan of laine and can't wait to his future works!

Agreed that some finish on the vaucher would be nice...

But the price would be considerably higher. I'm also just not sure if he has the time to develop a finishing scheme for it and execute it with all the other orders he has.
