Brandon Skinner's post beautifully captures the spirit of the Laine Gelidus, a timepiece whose name, derived from the Latin for 'icy' or 'cold,' finds its perfect environmental match in a snowy New Year's Day outing. His evocative photography not only showcases the watch in its element but also highlights the personal connection collectors often forge with their timepieces, making them companions in life's memorable moments. This piece reminds us that a watch's true value often lies in the experiences it shares with its owner.

New Years Day I took the Grail Fam to see some cold stuff. Gelidus in Latin translates to Icy/Cold/Frosty so I figured this was the watch to take along as my wrist companion. The last picture illustrates how much I enjoy anything more than 20 minutes exposure to the cold. I hope everyone had a fun kickoff to 2021.

Well i don’t think 2021 will see as many new arrivals but maybe a couple...I have 1 or 2 reference I am debating if I will keep but apart from that when you get too many choices in the morning on what to wear....

It is taking me too long to decide
