I was very fortunate to be a guest of TAG Heuer at the Vodafone Mercedes McLaren suite at the Singapore Grand Prix. The Paddock Club as always is an enjoyable experience, especially with the weather in Singapore. Both Vodafone drivers did well, with Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button placing 3rd and 4th respectively.

Here's a short clip of the action.
One of the highlights was the Jean-Georges suite, with terrific food by Jean-Georges Vongerichten. It was open to all Paddock Club guests and it seemed at times as if all guests were eating in there.

After the race, Vodafone driver and TAG Heuer ambassador Jensen Button, who qualified fourth that night, came to the suite for a short press conference. He was subsequently mobbed by fans. But another lucky guest of TAG Heuer who won a TAG Heuer watch that night managed to get Mr Button's signature on her prize.

TAG Heuer's other significant timepiece is the Pendulum concept, the brand's second concept watch. Taken from an earlier article of mine: "The idea is a magnet-driven balance wheel on a Unitas base thus obliviating the need for a hairspring. The result is the TAG Heuer Pendulum Concept. From what I understand it essentially comprises four magnets that attract/repel thus generating oscillations in the balance wheel. The magnets replace the hairspring and because there is less mass the Pendulum co
thank you very much, loved reading and going through the vast number of good photos!
for this beauty and ... somehow im finding it an attractive CONCEPT i dont wish for the hairspring to disappear from the watches scene anytime though. SJX thanks for the FULL ROUNDED " some tremenology we use in perfumery " coverage . Faisal .
I like the direction Tag Heuer is going in. Best Drew
The Pendulum is a concept, several years away from commercial production, and even when it is it will most likely be a small scale edition like the V4. If these technologies filter down into the mass market TAG Heuer watches, it will still be a long way. - SJX
