8 of us PuristS gathered tonight for a pre Chinese New Year gtg in Singapore and also to welcome and meet up with a fellow PuristS from overseas, Gordon!
In another 3 days the year of the Horse will end and we will usher in the year of the Goat!

So in this gtg, Gordon's Ulysse Nardin classico Horse enamel dial watch was our star of the night! Some of you may know I was once considering this watch but decided to pass it as I felt I couldn't carry an ornamental watch on my wrist. But man... This watch's enamel dial is awesome! I could spend hours looking at the dial using my loupe. I brought a loupe tonight but was so scared I get poisoned beyond cure so I didn't look at the watch for too long lol!

Bro Horogasm joined us too tonight. Guess which watches he brought along? smile (hint not an MB&F)

Another special mention: one of our fellow PuristS based in Singapore (he visits our forums here but is shy to post smile) actually brought along a Montblanc Villeret Tachydate!!
What a beautiful watch! The eggshell dial (color wise) and the movement is to die for!  He recently got this watch from Montblanc. Big congrats to this Purist from Singapore! He is a blessed man! I am very happy he brought this along tonight - he said becos the Montblanc moderator is here tonight so he wore this watch. I am very touched smile
It's not everyday I see a Purist wearing a Montblanc Villeret. smile
I appreciate him wearing this watch tonight and sharing with us how much he likes this watch.

There were also nice Langes in the midst. Could you identify them? smile

Gordon also shared his 175th anniversary PP worldtime. The moonphase is very nicely done! So is the case of the watch. I envy this guy!!! smile

Some photos to share. enjoy! Another great night of watch sharing, friendship and good food. Thanks to all fellow PuristS who attended tonight's gtg!
And Gordon, it was great to see you again smile
Hope to see you again soon.

Cheers
Robin

...AMAZING watches !! To me, the MB&F machines + Montblanc Villeret + Lange Honey Gold were the highlights, but they pale in comparison to meeting fellow PruistS, our discussions and friendships established !! You still need to decide on what you want to decide on the UN Horsey dial !! Please tell us !! Also unexpectedly, the other MB&F PuristS has become very interested in the ferocious UN small dragon (i.e. Snake / Serpent) !! Another poisoned beyond cure!! LOL !! Cheers, Gordon

Superb collection and table shot. Love seeing the Gronefeld out there...and more than one MB&F! Always seems to be a good time in SG :-)
