the Boss saw this laying around ( mentioned that she had been eyeing it ) and strapped it on the wrist, said “ you can Never sell this! “  then proceeded to walk off like she owns it…technically half of this watch ;-)

Celebration on a Maui beach.

I might not get this off the Boss’s wrist :-(

About the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ref. 126000

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual represents the foundational DNA of the crown's catalog, tracing its lineage back to Hans Wilsdorf's vision of the ultimate time-only watch. This turquoise dial variant emerged as part of Rolex's contemporary color refresh, positioning the entry-level Oyster Perpetual as a canvas for expressive dial treatments that historically resided in precious metal references.

The 36mm case houses the Caliber 3230 movement, featuring Rolex's Chronergy escapement and 70-hour power reserve. The turquoise lacquer dial creates striking contrast against the steel case architecture, while the applied hour markers maintain the collection's clean legibility standards. The Oystersteel construction and Oyster bracelet deliver the fundamental Rolex wearing experience without complications or rotating bezels.

This reference has generated significant collector interest due to dial availability constraints and the unexpected desirability of Rolex's color experiments in steel cases. Secondary market premiums reflect demand that exceeds typical entry-level positioning, with the turquoise dial commanding particular attention among younger collectors seeking contemporary Rolex design language. The reference bridges accessibility and exclusivity in ways that challenge traditional Rolex hierarchy assumptions.
