I will start with my 116509 meteorite dial 😁

About the Rolex 116509 Ref. 116509

Rolex 116509

The reference 116509 represents Rolex's white gold execution within their chronograph lineup. Distinguished by its precious metal construction throughout both case and bracelet, this 40mm reference was produced from 2000 to 2016, positioning it as a luxury variant in the collection.

The 40mm case is crafted from 18k white gold and fitted with a fixed tachymeter bezel. A white dial sits beneath sapphire crystal, while the automatic Cal. 4130 movement provides 72 hours of power reserve. Water resistance extends to 100 meters. The watch is completed by an 18k white gold Oyster bracelet.

This reference appeals to collectors seeking precious metal chronographs with matching bracelet construction. The white gold case and bracelet combination, paired with the white dial, creates a monochromatic aesthetic. With its 16-year production run ending in 2016, the 116509 represents a substantial period in the model's evolution before newer references took its place.

That's one of the nicest versions of the Daytona I've seen.

No meteorite in my collection but I have tried a platinum Day-Date with meteorite and diamonds dial long ago. I fell in love immediately. A meteorite dial, from no brand in particular, is something I'd like to have someday.

I agree. While the GMT meteorite is now the coveted model with the meteorite dial, we must not forget about the Daytonas or Day/Dates as well πŸ˜‰

My favorite PM Daytona is still this 116509 meteorite, even more than the platona. Now if they made a platona with a meteorite dial, all bets are off 😁

Many Rolex models with the Meteorite? I was aware of the Daytona and the much more recent GMT MASTER. [nt]
