In this insightful post, 'One day just one watch' shares a personal journey through the evolving landscape of Rolex availability, culminating in a successful acquisition. Their experience with the Rolex Datejust 36 mint green dial offers a timely glimpse into whether the market for desirable Rolex models is shifting. This narrative provides valuable context for collectors navigating current retail conditions.

It has been over 6 months since my last post. Summer and autumn have come and gone and the last couple of days it was really cold in the Netherlands, as it is supposed to be in wintertime.
I have stopped going into Rolex dealers to ask what they have in stock. I find looking at watches which are “for exhibition only” quite frustrating so that’s why i have stopped going into stores that sell Rolex. A couple of weeks ago it was my birthday and i decided to give it a go and have a look for the new model Datejust 36 with the lovely green dial. They had one with the smooth bezel and i prefer the fluted bezel. And just a week after my visit i got a call if i was in the neighborhood and wanted to come to have a look at something…

And this is what they wanted to show me, and…i was able to buy it as well. So, maybe things are getting better for whoever wants to buy a Rolex, i sure hope so!

The crypto bubble bursting, but…this DJ with the mint green dial is a model that is not pedestrian yet, well not in the Netherlands that is…
