Ornatus-Mundi announces the PuristS’ Watch Binge (PWB) at BaselWorld 2018, a groundbreaking community-driven event in collaboration with Hublot, TAG Heuer, and Zenith. This initiative aims to revolutionize watch presentations by offering an intimate, peer-to-peer experience where enthusiasts can engage directly with novelties without brand interference.

Dear Forumners,

It will be Baselworld 2018 when PuristSPro (in cooperation with Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith) will launch an uniquely new, entirely community-driven type of presenting watch novelties: the first PuristS’ Watch Binge (PWB)!

We will take matters into our own hands and have decided to try something entirely new: a peer-to-peer style of watch presentations, by watch enthusiasts for watch enthusiasts, without any interference by the partnering brands: a concept entirely developed to cater to the interests of the passionate watchlovers at PuristSPro.

PWB is conceived to be an intimate hour where PuristS get the chance for a hands-on experience of the actual novelties, discuss them with fellow watch lovers, and enjoy a glass of champagne. We will be entirely amongst ourselves, with no brand representative interfering or steering the sessions.

As launching partners of PWB we could secure the support of Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith!

PWB will take place during BaselWorld 2018 on Saturday, 24 March 2018, with one session for each participating brand. The schedule is as follows:
We'll meet at the respective brand booth.

Participation is subject to the following conditions: Each of the above PWB session is limited to a roughly dozen of participants and requires prior registration.  In case of oversubscription we as moderators reserve the right to select participants at their sole and uncontested discretion. You might be offered a place at one of the other two brand events. LVMH will generously provide free BaselWorld day tickets for Saturday!

To register for a PWB session, please drop a private message to either Andrew Luff ("andrewluff"), Todd Harrell ("JToddH") or Dr. Magnus Bosse ("Ornatus-Mundi"). Deadline for registration is Sunday, 11 March 2017.

At this place already a great thank you to our brand partners for their willingness and trust to support this initiative!

See you there!
Andrew, Todd and Magnus

Mr JCB gives a lot of credit to Pro's mods and members and you deserve it all. I still need to read more carefully the report of the new Tag Heuer chrono, but I'm waiting for your feedbacks

I did it with Jaeger Lecoultre in HK and SG, and I can tell you that it was very educative... First without, to be among us. Then with, for the brands to listen what our members have to say, think, like or dislike. Jaeger Lecoultre played the game very well. I am sure the mentioned brands will do, too. Listening to customers / collectors is something brands are not used too. This is a super opportunity to do so, and with the La Creme de la Creme! Best, Nicolas

You are like streaming this, right? This would really be great for those who cant attend, or due to your limited seating.

but streaming would be technically difficult (the wireless service at the BaselWorld is notoriously bad, and mobile networks quite bandwith-stressed). I also think, since it is not a classically orchestrated product presentation (actually quite far from it; even anarchic perhaps?), it could be quite tiring to watch... So, just better attend yourself ;-) Cheers, Magnus
